Holiday Parade Fun
We’d love your dancer to join us for the Queen Creek Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 2nd at 3:30! The parade is open to all CID dancers 6 years and older. To participate in the parade, please use the link below and sign up by October 20th.
The cost to participate is $20 per dancer and includes a special holiday CID T-shirt to wear in the parade and rehearsal time. Dancers will have 2-3 rehearsals to learn the parade routine during the month of November.
Recital Time
It’s so hard to believe that we have already completed the first 2 months of classes! That means, it’s time to start preparing for our June Dance Recital. Teachers are busy selecting costumes and music and planning for a great show! The June Recital will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Higley Performing Arts Center at 6:30 p.m. Performance is an important part of a dancer’s training and we highly encourage all of our dancers to participate in the recital.
The recital fee is $50 per dancer and is due on November 15th. Costumes will be ordered in December to ensure their timely arrival. We know that it is not convenient to pay for dance recital costumes around the holidays, so in hopes to make it easier on our families, this year, 50% of the costume total will be due on December 10th and the remaining 50% will be due on February 10th. The price for recital costumes are listed on the back of your registration form and with our school policies.
If your dancer will be unable to participate in the recital, please stop by the front desk to complete an opt-out form.

Halloween Fun!
All dancers are invited to wear their Halloween costumes to class the week of October 23-28th! We can hardly wait to see your great costumes. Dancers must still be able to fully participate in class, so minor adjustments may be needed to some costumes. Dancers will also be receiving a small Halloween treat from their teachers at the end of classes that week (no candy).
STUDIO CLOSURES
Just a reminder… The studio will be closed October 9-15, 2017 for Fall Break. Dancers may take any class of their choice, in the appropriate level, to make-up their classes. We wish everyone a happy and safe Fall Break!
CID will also be closed on Halloween, Tuesday, Oct. 31st, after 12:00. Morning classes will be held.
Our Commitment To Excellence
It has always been our mission at Classic Image Dance to provide the highest quality dance education to all of our students, at all ages and levels. Over fall break we will be adding blinds to our observation windows to ensure our students continue to receive the very best in each of their classes. The blinds will be open or closed based on the teacher’s discretion to keep the attention and focus of the dancers in class and not be distracted by what’s happening outside the classroom. We also believe it’s important for the parents to be able to view what is happening in class if they want, so we are installing closed circuit cameras in each of our studios that will be connected to our lobby TV. Parents will always be able to view classes on the television.
NEW LOCKERS
The new lockers have arrived and we have a few more still available. If you are interested in reserving a locker for your dancer, please stop by the front desk. Lockers are $50/year.
LOST & FOUND
We have several items in our lost and found basket at the front desk. Please stop and check to see if anything belongs to you. Lost clothing items will be hanging on the hooks in the girls’ dressing room. All lost & found items will be donated at the end of each month.
